Into the Now is an underwater VR series that, through three selected episodes — Facing Fear, The Galápagos, and The Great White— draws audiences straight into the heart of the ocean. At VR Kino KEK, these episodes are presented as a single 360° and 3D work, conceived as one continuous experience that moves from a deeply personal story of fear to encounters with some of the most striking sights in the marine world.
In Facing Fear, series creator Michael Muller — photographer, filmmaker, and ocean explorer — confronts his long-standing fear of sharks and learns to dive cage-free with great whites. In The Galápagos, viewers are immersed in one of the most extraordinary marine ecosystems on Earth. The Great White then brings them into a close encounter with one of the ocean’s most compelling inhabitants.
Into the Now is therefore far more than a visually stunning film about the underwater world. It is also a story of courage, wonder, and responsibility — about an ocean that captivates even as it reveals its own vulnerability. Through its focus on climate change, pollution, and overfishing, the series also carries a strong educational dimension.
